Things can move so quickly here that even if you’ve been coming to Glenwood for a while, there might be things going on in the church that you still don’t know about. This section of the website is for regulars like you to read up on all the various projects taking place.

The Church Centre is now home to over 30 staff who help to manage the church’s infrastructure and projects under the direction of the church’s leadership. The Senior administrator is Paul Hocking and he is assisted by Russell Dewey and Clare Reay. There are also a number of volunteers who help out during their spare time.

A weekly news document, Glenwood This Week, is produced by the administrators and sent out by email to members of the congregation. They are also responsible for other Glenwood publications including this website.
If you would like to submit a notice for Glenwood This Week, please contact Russell in the office ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) by 5pm Tuesday. Glenwood This Month is distributed on the first Sunday of every month. To submit a notice for this, please contact Russell by 5pm on the previous Tuesday.

Glenwood and its associated ministries currently manage over 40 different projects. The Centre is also increasingly in demand during holidays and at weekends for outside events such as childrens’ birthday parties and conferences.
Glenwood and Going Public turn over nearly half a million pounds a year.

The Church’s offices are open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. We are closed between Christmas and New Year, and the week following Easter. During the month of August we often operate reduced opening hours. You can contact any of the Glenwood Faith Community staff through the Church offices, and you are welcome to come and talk to us if you need to use the photocopier or computer facilities. We’d also love to hear from you if you are interested in helping out at the church offices.

Finance

The Church’s finances are managed by Treasurer Clive Evans and the church’s administrative staff, based in the office.

The team deal with all aspects of the church’s finances – from individuals’ giving to payment of expenses claims and bills.
If you have an expenses claim that you would like paid, or you would like to set up a standing order or Gift Aid declaration, please contact Cian Stavers in the Glenwood office.

The church holds an annual Vision and Business meeting in June.  Accounts for the previous year are presented as well as a proposed budget for the following year.

If you have any questions regarding the church’s finances, please do not hesitate to contact either Clive Evans, Cian Stavers or Norman Adams who is the link member on the church’s Ministry Team.
