Going Public is a Christian charity based at Glenwood Church Centre. It was set up in 1990 by Paul Francis and Joy Watson. It is now so well-integrated into the church that the two organisations are managed as one by Paul Francis. Many of the church staff also work for Going Public and a large number of our projects are joint between the two organisations.Going Public specialises in ministering to schools, both primary and secondary, with a particular focus on teenage sexuality and drug abuse. Going Public run a Gap Year programme through which we train young people in leadership and in creative arts such as Theatre in Education. Going Public also regularly tours the UK with presentations for Christian adults. In the past we have worked with Tony Campolo, Graham Kendrick, Noel Richards, Jeff Lucas, Tom Sine and Rob Parsons. For more information, contact Rob Burns at the Glenwood office, or visit the Going Public website by clicking here. |
