Sport is a ministry that breaks through barriers of age, class, culture and religion. Take a group of people who seemingly have nothing in common and introduce a football – sport will bring people together in a way that is quite unique.

Sports people are fast becoming the world’s largest people group – we want to meet these people on the football pitch or netball court and show them the love of God in a real and relevant way. We want to give people a positive experience of sport in a safe, fun and Christian environment.

Our sports initiative, Glenwood Active, consists of a wide range of different sporting activities so you’re bound to find something that suits you. All our sport and activity programs operate an open door policy and everyone is welcome regardless of age, ability or experience.
